Mrs. Denise Matthys, formerly of Delhi, passed away at the Hardy Terrace Long Term Care, Brantford on Saturday, December 28, 2024 in her 90th year. Among Denise’s favourite activities was playing cards. Former Denise Germaine DeWulf.  Beloved wife of the Late Julien Matthys (2023) for over 68 years. Loving mother of James (Cathy) and Michael (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Megan (Tanner), Stephanie (Chadd), Michael and Chelsey and great-grandmother of Austin, Peter and Alex. Dearest sister of Lucien and Esther. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her siblings: Thomas, Lucy and Lucienne. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
