Mr. John Szakal of Vienna, Ontario passed away at the Maplecrest Village Retirement Residence, Grimsby on Sunday, October 27, 2024 in his 91st year.  John and his wife Irene loved to travel together and spend time on the boat in Long Point. Beloved husband of the Late Irene Margaret (Cservid) Szakal (2024). Loving brother of George Szakal (Terry Anne). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Campfire Circle (Camp Trillium) or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
