In Loving Memory of Mary Evelyn Hill who went to be with her Lord on June 22, 2019 in her 86th year. Former Mary Evelyn Sherman. Beloved wife of James S. Hill (deceased 2007). Cherished mother of Terry Hill, Ron Hill (deceased 2016), Barbara Hill, Ed Hill (deceased 2018), Mark Hill (deceased 2018), Steve Hill, Christine Hill, Carolyn (Hill) Hamilton, Larry Hill and Beverly (Hill) Reidy.  Admired grandmother and great grandmother. Evelyn is also survived by her sister, Joan Hinderer. She was predeceased by her sisters Betty Underhill, Lillian Smith, Ruth Pepper and brothers George and Bill Sherman. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Delhi, Ontario. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Monday July 1, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service with Pastor Josh Staats of Waterford, Ontario will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home. Interment in Delhi Cemetery, Delhi, Ontario. Ending with a gathering from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Backstage Capitol, King Street, Delhi, Ontario.
