Obituary of Barbara Mackie

Mrs. Barbara Mackie (née Keetch) of Delhi, and formerly of Exeter and Orillia, passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, May 4, 2024, two days shy of her 91st Birthday. Barbara was a Faithful Member & Executive of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 125, Delhi, Ladies Auxiliary for many years and had served in various positions including President. Beloved wife of the Late Alex Robert William "Bob" Mackie (2007). Loving mother of Connie Bonner (Gerry) and Bob Mackie (Ruth), and cherished grandmother of Caitlin. Barbara will be greatly missed by many relatives & friends. Predeceased by her three brothers: Hugh, Ray and Ken Keetch. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and for a Royal Canadian Legion Service at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery at a Later Date. Donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
