Obituary of Margerete Sharpe

Mrs. Margerete Sharpe of Simcoe, passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in her 79th year. She loved birds and nature. She was an avid Yahtzee player and was often seen travelled on her scooter to yard sales around town. Former Margerete Gilbert. Beloved wife of the Late William Robert Sharpe (2019). Loving mother of Lynn VanDamme (Rick), Darcy Foreman (Bernie), Barbara Calliauw and Sheri Ryan. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Darci (Mark), Mark (April), Julia, Cassy (Kevin), Evan, Amber (William) and Coty and great grandmother to many great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Kathleen Daigle. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in laws. Predeceased by her two brothers: Oliver Robert Gilbert (2010) and William Gilbert (1989) and by her sister, Jean Laking (1959). Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
