Obituary of Vivian Sabo

Mrs. Vivian Sabo formerly of La Salette and Delhi passed away at the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in her 89th year. Vivian was a legal assistant for several law firms in Delhi for the majority of her career.  She was also a long-time member of Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Women’s League. She loved to travel in winter to sunny destinations and lady luck often shone on her when she played the slots at the casinos. Beloved wife of the Late Steve Sabo (2020). Loving mother of Tim Sabo (Brigitte) and Ron Sabo (Lee) and grandmother to her beloved grandchildren Spencer and Griffin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Genevieve Byer (2015) and Pauline Pottelberg (1978), as well as her brother Patrick Pettit (2005). The family appreciates all the care and support Vivian received not only from the staff but also from the residents at the Gardens of Ingersoll Retirement Home.  The family would also like to thank Vivian's extended family and friends for their phone calls, letters, and visits which greatly brightened her days when she was not as mobile in her later years.  Honouring Vivian’s wishes, a Private Family Service has taken place. Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette Cemetery.
