Obituary of Mary De Bock

Mrs. Mary De Bock of Delhi, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in her 86th year. Mary and George were married for nearly 50 years, running a tobacco farm together for the majority of those years. In her own right, she was an avid crafter and baker, wiling away the hours knitting, crocheting and quilting, while watching her favourite sports teams. Mary was also a Member of the Board of the Norfolk Saddle Club for over 30 years. She enjoyed supporting others in their endeavours as well as the fellowship & camaraderie from behind the scenes. Former Mary Louise Gasparini. Beloved wife of the Late George De Bock (2009). Loving mother of Gary George De Bock and Debra Lynn De Bock. Dearest niece of Geraldine Langohr. Predeceased by her parents, Enore (1975) & May (Davis) Gasparini (2014). The family extends its appreciation for the warm and compassionate care Mary experienced from the specialized health teams in both London and Hamilton. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the London Health Science Foundation or the Hamilton Health Science Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
