Mrs. Madeleine Ferket, born in Raymond, Alberta and formerly of Simcoe, Ontario passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital a day before her 94th birthday, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Madeleine spent much of her time quietly reading and solving puzzles. She loved to garden and spend time outdoors. She adored her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. Mom always looked forward to seeing photos and hearing the latest stories of them when we would visit her. Former Madeleine Mathilde Bacro. Beloved wife of the Late Werner Ferket (2017). Loving mother of Larry Ferket (Mary Jean), Linda Ferket, and Brenda Godelie (Randy). Cherished grandmother of Leah (Brian), Stephanie (Steve), Alexandra (Peter), Kyle (Sarah) & Kevin and great-grandmother of Ryan, Rachel, Sophia and Eloise. Predeceased by her brothers, Remi (1989), and Albert (2014). A Private Family Service will be held. Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
