Obituary of Shirley Linn

In Loving Memory

Mrs. Shirley Linn of Delhi, passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, on Friday, September 1, 2023 in her 86th year. Shirley was a caring & compassionate person.  She was a very hard worker and was admired for her work ethics. She was always loving & funny; she loved to talk to people and was a friend to everyone. Shirley was an avid animal lover and a mother to her fur babies BooBoo and Tiny and many pets before them.  She had a special love for all animals and would spend time caring for the stray and neighborhood animals. Shirley’s kindness didn’t stop at animals.  She would help anyone in need.  Even in her final days on earth, Shirley loved to make others laugh.  She would sing & dance and her smile was infectious to all. Beloved wife of the Late Jack Linn. Dearest sister of Maurice 'Moe' Kalle (Peggy).  Shirley will be dearly missed by her several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her twin sister, Sherry Franco (2019), and by her sisters: Geneva McLasky (1994), Margaret Rutter (1995) and by her five brothers: Robert (1995), Ron (1971), Louis (1979), Gary (2013) and John O'Keefe. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Simcoe & District Humane Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
