Mr. Reginald Godelie of Otterville, passed away at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Francine Godelie (Vanwynsberghe). Loving father of Marlene McGraw (John), René Godelie (Christine) and Mandie Propper (Darryl). Cherished grandfather of Christopher Edward Thomas (Lorna), Amelia Ann Halsey (Joshua), Justin René Godelie (Shannon), Jordan Richard Godelie (Megan), Christian René Godelie (Alyssa), Ethan Jon Godelie (Emily), Shane Michael Godelie, Adam Deruysscher, Breanne Marie Propper and Brody Donald Propper. Treasured great grandfather of Declan, Meara, Zoë, Paige, Mya, Nolan and Katie. He will be missed by all his nieces, nephews and the Vanwynsberghe family. Predeceased by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as his son, Ricky Fugard (2006). Reg was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, Delhi-LaSalette Council #5095. He loved farming, woodworking and his dog Duchess.  He was truly a family man. Nothing meant more to him than God and his family.  Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Donations to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock or the Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Memorial Fund will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
