Obituary of Gerda Hubinger

In Loving Memory

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gerda Erika Hubinger (nee Stadtlaender) on Monday October 10, 2022 in her 87th year.  She leaves behind her beloved husband, Josef of 62 years at her side.  Loving mother of Peter (Louise), Tony (Michele) and Thomas (Michele). Cherished grandmother of Megan, Robyn (Jo) & Alex.  Gerda is also survived by three nieces.  Predeceased by her sister in law Zilly Stutenberger (late Hans).  Gerda loved travelling the world with Josef, sharing many adventures and memories.  Her gift of baking German pastries and love of fresh flowers always brought the family together.  Gerda and Josef were proud business owners in Delhi for over 40 years and well respected within the community.  We would like to thank all the wonderful staff members at Parkview Meadows Long Term Care in Townsend for taking such good care of her.  Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 4:30 p.m. Inurnment in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
