Obituary of Stefan Fett

It is with Heavy Hearts that we announce the passing of Stefan Fett of Delhi, at Saint Josephs Lifecare Centre on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He was in his 92nd year. Born in Gant, Hungary he came to Canada in 1951. Beloved husband of the late wife, Edith (Seewald) Fett (November, 2021). Loving father of Susan (Fett) Weedon (John Thomas) and David Fett and the Late Steve Fett Jr. (2017) and his wife Paula. Cherished grandfather to Meghan (Tom) Valeri, Johnny Weedon, Casey Fett, Rene (Larry) Roy, Cindy (Austin) Judge, and great-grandfather to Desire, Wyatt, Thomas James, Judah, Rachel, Ananiah, George and Ethan, Survived by sister Elizabeth Forjan (Bob) Johnson and brother Andy (Linda) Fett as well as many relatives throughout Canada, USA, Hungary and Germany. Along side Stefan and Edith, they owned and operated their farm for over 40 years growing vegetables & tobacco. After retiring, Steve and Edith became Snow Birds, residing in Florida half of each year for over 20 years. Battling Dementia and Cancer and numerous ailments over the years, Stefan now can join Edith in their next life. Special thanks goes to the Professional and Compassionate staff at Brantford’s Saint Joseph’s Life Care for their excellent care of Stefan over the past months. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette Cemetery to follow. A Celebration of Life and Luncheon will take place following the interment. Donations to the War Amps of Canada will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
