Mrs. Elizabeth Gitta, formerly of Delhi, passed away peacefully at Dover Cliffs Long Term Care Home, Port Dover, on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in her 90th year. Elizabeth was a long-time Member of the Hungarian Hall. She loved to work in her yard and on the farm. Elizabeth’s greatest joy was cooking for and spending time with her family. Former Elizabeth Anne Zahorak. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Gitta (2018). Loving mother of Joe Gitta Jr. (Carol), John Gitta, Elizabeth Scholten (Andy) and Mary Ann Gitta. Cherished grandmother of Joel (Kricia), Susan & Lisa and Gerrit (Rachel) & Ava and great-grandmother of Aurora, Natalia & Lucia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her three siblings: Helen Vilez, Mary Roose and Joe Zahorak Jr. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery .
