Obituary of Angela Lados
In Loving Memory
Angela Lados of Delhi passed away at the VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 surrounded by her loving family after a three year battle with brain cancer. She was six weeks short of her 69th birthday. Angela was the best imaginable wife & companion of 46 years to her husband Tony; loving and devoted mother to Jennifer (Shaun) and Alexandra (Ryan); fun-loving and nurturing grandma to Alice and Oliver Matejcek and Gavin, Faren and Lauren Simon; and admiring of and thankful for Ryan's parents, Guy and Cheryl Simon. Also survived by her sisters Margaret Murray (Dave) and Edith DeCloet (ex Ben), brother-in-law Ed Dziegiel (Late sister, Monika) and special niece Kimberly Dziegiel (Alex Postma), sisters in-law Joan Tewes (Late brother, Karl), Eva Lados and Judy Schaeffer (Clayton), cousins Carolyn, Patty and Joseph Eppel and Erika Fink, all of their families, her dinner club, bowling and knitting companions and her closest friend of many years, MaryAnn VanLondersele. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph (1994) & Margarete (Marz) Tewes (2019), and by her brother, Karl (2008) and sister Monika (2018). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church, Delhi. on Friday February 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (Facial Covering and Social Distancing Required). Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Please join us for Angela’s Special Celebration of Life, Wake to be held at the Delhi German Home on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (Facial Covering and Vaccine Passport still required).
