Mrs. Winnifred Ferguson of London, passed away at Dearness Home Service, London on Friday, January 21, 2022 in her 102nd year. Winnifred's life journey began in Nova Scotia and she lived in Delhi for many years. She enjoyed many years as a secretary at the Delhi District Secondary School and often volunteered with her friends at numerous fundraising events for the Delhi United Church. She loved to travel, play the piano, knit and make quilts. Former Winnifred Morse Messenger. Beloved wife of the Late Roderick Bruce Ferguson (1994). Loving mother of Kenneth Ferguson (Evelyn). Cherished grandmother of Keith (Jody), Jill (Jon) and Kelly (Jeff) and great-grandmother of Nathan, Lucas, Chelsea and Brody. Predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Farkas (2019) and survived by her husband Jim, by her two sisters, Edith Messenger (1998) and Thelma Thompson (2014), by her brother, Kenneth Messenger (2002) and by her parents Franklin (1940) and Winnifred (1920) (Morse) Messenger. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Longworth Retirement Home and Dearness Home Service in London for all the excellent care and affection she received. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Celebration of Life Service will be held. Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery.
