In Loving Memory

Mr. Dave Burk of Delhi, passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, on Monday, December 13, 2021 in his 76th year. Dave was a proud member of the Waterford Sportsman’s Club and devoted hunter and fisherman. He also loved a fast car. After a dedicated 31 years at Ford Motor Company, Dave enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting with long time friends and his loyal gun dog Tara. He spent many hours recounting all the infamous hunting and fishing stories. He was always ready to have a beer and watch a ballgame. Beloved husband of over 50 years to Rose (Tirva) Burk. Loving father of Tammy Lux (Raymond), Kelly Burk (Trent) and Tim Burk (Anne-Marie). Cherished Papa of Greyson, Dexter, Andrew, Carter and Lily. Also survived by several inlaws, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Sharon, and by his brother, Larry. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Facial Covering and Social Distancing Required).  In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Memorial Service will take place. Memorial Donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
