Mr. George McCrea of Vermeulen Road, St. Williams passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in his 79th year. George was always a people person and particularly enjoyed running his business McCrea’s Landing in Turkey Point for over 20 years. He had a passion for many things including horses, old tractors and working on old cars. Beloved husband of the Late Connie (Haggarty) McCrea (2016). Loving father of Melanie Roberts (Trevor) and James McCrea (Nicole) and Jillian Kalinchak (David). Cherished grandfather of Lane, Zak, Jordan, Georgia, Quincy & Paisley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his sister, Beverley Lunday (2009) and by his sister-in-law, Donna Sparks (2016). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi for visitation on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (MAX: 85 Attendees, Please join us for Visitation Only, Facial Coverings and Social Distancing Required). Interment in Walsh United Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
