Mr. Jan Lazarski, formerly of Mississauga, passed away peacefully at Highview Residences, Kitchener on Monday June 28th, 2021 in his 75th year. Jan was a very talented scholar who had a great passion for reading with a vast knowledge of history. He was also very gifted with his hands. Jan worked as a glazer on many of the amazing skyscrapers in the Toronto and London area including the Rogers Centre formerly known as the Toronto Skydome and on the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. Jan enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. He was also very talented cook and you would’ve never left his table without having seconds. He was charming and loved to entertain. He always had a story to tell. Beloved husband of the Late Maria Stasiak (2020). Loving father of Ewa Savory (Gerry) and Kasia Poirier (Mark). Cherished grandfather of Login, Colin, Alicia, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Maksymus. Dearest brother of Mietek "Stan" (Janis) and Krystyna. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, in laws and cousins. He will also be missed by the staff at the Highview Residence. A Family Funeral Mass will take place at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Mississauga on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. with Private Family Inurnment in Bookton Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
