Amy Brooks of Otterville, passed away peacefully with her family around her at home on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in her 26th year. Amy had always been a determined, hardworking woman who was involved with the community. In high school Amy was a cheerleader, volunteering in many fundraisers, moving on to coach for a few years. After high school she worked hard to put herself through school attending Mohawk College for Protection, Security and Investigation. During her fourth and final semester Amy’s life changed. She fought hard and amazed us all with her high spirits through her battle. She will be dearly missed by everyone she met. Beloved daughter of Heather Vanwynsberghe and Robert Brooks. Loving sister of Stephanie Fitzpatrick (Ed), Adam Vanwynsberghe, Corey Brooks (Kayla) and Bobby Brooks. Cherished aunt of Logan. Dearest niece of Fred Brooks, Dan Brooks (Kathy), Gary Fugard (Bonnie), Richard Fugard and Christine Collins (Joe). Also survived by many cousins. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a private family funeral service will take place with interment in Delhi Cemetery. A second public Celebration of Life is planned for the future.  Memorial donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation (Hamilton Health Sciences) or the Delhi Sharing Pantry can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
