In Loving Memory

Mrs.  Angela Jacques-Jones of Delhi, Ontario passed away at the V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock on Friday, March 6, 2020 in her 66th year. Adored wife of William Jones. Loving mother of Kevin Clark (Leigh Anne) and loving Metje of Kai and Koda of Provost, Alberta. Beloved daughter of Alice Jacques (Late Adrien, 2001). Dearest sister of Annie Englehardt (Walter), Arlene Patenaude (Jerry), Adrien Jacques (Helen) and Annette Wilson (Paul). Loved sister in law of Dorothy Jones and Bob Jones (Doreen). Loving step mother to Darren Jones (Jeanette)  and special Metja to Yvaine of Toronto, Colin Jones (Kelley) and special Metja to Lennox of Guelph, Greg Clark (Lorie) and special Metja to Lily and Sam of Kitchener, and John Gillespie (Linda) of Folsom, California. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Angie was a member of the La Salette Catholic Women's League and past Member of the Delhi Optimist Club. She was the long time owner of Angie's Hair Place in Delhi. She enjoyed her career as a hairdresser and very much enjoyed her second career as a Canada Post Letter Carrier in Simcoe. She was an avid gardener and even after moving into a condo, she could be regularly found working in and designing the condo flower beds. She also enjoyed scrapbooking of trips and special occasions. A special thank you to Dr. T. Kouroukis and the staff of the Juravinski Cancer Centre (Hamilton) and a very special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Sakura House for their extraordinary care and compassion of Angie. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and CWL prayers at 3:30 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
