Mrs. June Heyndrickx of Simcoe, passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Tillsonburg on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in her 94th year. June’s first priority was always her family. She was a devoted and selfless wife and mother. Member of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church and their Catholic Women’s League and was involved in the annual church bazaars. She participated in the Delhi Bowling Leagues. June also enjoyed sewing, having sing-a-long piano sessions with her children and making fashionable hats for her Sunday outfits. In her later years, her biggest thrills were from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Former June Cymbeline Martin. Beloved wife of the Late Robert Heyndrickx (2009). Loving mother of Mark Heyndrickx; Cathy Heyndrickx (Cathy); Debbie McLay and Darcie Knull (Ron). Cherished grandmother of Jonathan (Melissa), Eric & Jennifer (Peter), and great grandmother of Celeste and Aurora. June is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Artley (1998) & Daisy (Collins) Martin (1983), by her sister, Joy Emma Martin (1963), by her brother, James Martin (2002) (Late Betty, 2023), by her brother-in-law, Homer Heyndrickx (2005) (Late Grace, 2013) and by her sister in laws, Rachel Heyndrickx (2014) and Marion Heyndrickx (2021). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. with CWL prayers at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Charles Akinloye officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
